Lakeside Roadhouse

Food - no grilled chicken. All the chicken is breaded. Additional price to substitute fries for a garden salad (what??) Mustard and relish were packets and way over the expiry. Chunky brown mustard and bright deep green relish. Ugh. As for a water, server brought the other drinks, no water. Saw server clearing table put unused forks and knives back into the clean bin. That is a definite no no in the food industry. Will not be going back there.

Service was fast and good even though the poor waitress and hostess were understaffed. Food was hot and yummy and the bathrooms were very clean. Don’t plan to park with your trailer here, leave it at the park like we did.

This was our second visit. We first went exactly 1 week after they had opened, and we sat on the patio. We had a great meal that day. Today we sat inside and the seats were comfortable and a nice friendly atmosphere. The food came out pretty quickly, and was nice and hot. I had the hugest piece of fish! It was very good with crispy batter. You can tell the fish was fresh. My wife and daughter had burgers and they both really enjoyed them. And my son had chicken nuggets, and he downed them. The sides of fries, onion rings, sweet potato fries and the garlic parmesan fries were all great. We for sure will be dining there often as it's nice and close to us. It's great to have a quality restaurant of this kind in the area. Hopefully they'll be around for a long time.

We stopped in at the roadhouse while we were on a houseboating adventure. The staff are accommodating and quite friendly. We had a beautiful view of the lake, and had the option of sitting on the patio. We thought it was pretty cool that you could drive your boat up to the dock for dinner. This is definitely not a wheelchair accessible restaurant. The bathrooms are downstairs, and there are stairs to get into the restaurant and out to the patio. The patio looked so pretty lit up with tiny white lights and facing out towards the lake. The ambience made for a great date night. Our food came out piping hot and in a timely manner. The cook even sent out a couple of sample wings for me to try, on the house. I ordered the chicken fingers (3 fingers) with fries and my husband had the "hungry man wings" (about 10 wings). You won't leave hungry, the amount of fries they give you is plentiful! This is a kid friendly place, high chairs are available.

My husband, myself and our son went there for the first time, for dinner yesterday. I was thoroughly impressed! We had a few different flavors of wings(they have a good wing special on Tuesday's) and we had the nacho fries. Everything was delicious, the service was amazing, and prices are very reasonable!!! This is a gem, if you are craving good pub food!! We will make this our regular gathering place for sure!!! NOTE:If you like spicy, but not too spicy, try the scorpion bite wings!! Their wing flavors are very unique!!! ....Not like the other wing places that tend to be the same.

We stopped in on a whim on a hot sunny day and enjoyed dining on the waterfront patio. The servers were very nice, the food was delicious (largest wrap I’ve ever had and amazing fries). Def coming back!
